Mike, heard from my cousin in Redding tonight. She is just sick, the 60th wedding anniversary (surprise) party is planned at a lake park near the marina (never been there, that is her description). Hopefully the fires will be all out and the air cleared up by then!! I believe there is an inside area she is using (whew!). We aren't taking the MH after all, gas being what it is we decided taking the truck made lots more sense since we don't have a tow vehicle. We're taking off Tuesday early am for the week, home Monday for a night or two then heading to Redding slowly, sightseeing. So I'll just wish everyone a happy 4th now. If anyone is in Bishop over the 4th, look us up - Browns Town on 395 by the Radio Station.
Jill, I wish you luck on the fires but from what I have seen, many are still blazing. If you haven't seen Lake Shasta in a while, the water level is WAY down. I heard 40-60 feet below normal. The shoreline is so large it is scary. Also, make SURE you fill up with gas south of Redding. Fuel prices get outrageous north of Redding. We saw prices as high as $4.99 / gal for REGULAR. It was $4.55 just north of Redding 3 weeks ago. So be Warned.
Have a GREAT trip and I hope things go well.

Tom, yea, yea... someone else will be getting a new TV in the semi-near future too since the current one seems to be falling backwards. Maybe 2 like someone else we know.
Chuck, it all depends on your perspective. From the side = rectangle, front = square

Well if "someone" does decide to replace their TV, I would be willing to assist that "someone" so I can see how it's done. Just in case, you know?
Not a problem. I am sure it will not be a quick and easy job though. Luckily, many have posted pictures on how htye did the upgrades including some with the same brand of motorhome. BUT, other things are priority right now unless that person finds something broken behind the TV. Then it will get a much higher priority. They don't want any TV falling on anyone. Even dogs..
I will make sure that "someone" lets you know in advance. I heard he wants to put a 60" that folds down from the ceiling but it will more than likely be a 32" due to cost reasons...lol
