2-way walkie talkies ... so your partner can give you directions by voice rather than running around trying to get your attention in your mirrors as you back into a site.

A bit of advice on taking delivery. Don't be so excited and eager to go camping that you take delivery of your unit if it needs work. If your PDI reveals problems LEAVE the trailer. Of course, YMMV, but most dealers are hard to get appointments and are slow to do work. If you leave the new unit on day one, they are more likely to fix it faster to get you out of their hair.

Also make sure if you don't take delivery that day, that your warranty doesn't actually begin until you do. Get that in writing.

Captain-n-Coke, Beer, Wine, Oh and toilet paper! Should make you forget all the things that you meant to bring in the first place.

I would add tire chocks to your list and move it to the top.

We did our maiden voyage to Tucson and stayed at an RV resort that had a Camping World within a very short walking distance. We stayed 2 nights and went to CW 4 times

The dealer may give you a starter kit with a sewer hose, t-paper and a couple odds-n-ends. I would ask for credit and buy a real sewer hose. First time using our it looked like a long sprinkler.

I second camping in the driveway or somewhere close, we did our first campout in the driveway and made several trips to wal-mart to get things we needed. The notepad is great too because there will still be things you forgot when you go camping for real.

Contracts on the new 5er.
