Hello, we're heading to Ocean Lakes on Monday, for 11 days. We want to take a day cruise somewhere. Are there any boat trips out of the are for 1 day? Looking for a sight seeing boat cruise, or something like that.
Thanks

Several..
Once you get there, go to the front desk and look through the pamplet rack. You are looking for discount books..I believe there are at least 4-5 of them. You will find coupons for discounted cruises. Dinner, Dolphin viewing, gambling cruies.. several others (a BIG speed boat ride, we took this several years back).Plus resturants, t-shirt shops & about any thing to get your money..
have fun.. we just got back from 6 days down there..Loved it the weather was great all but the last day.. had an 82 degree day on Friday...Ocean water cold..
Look at my webshots for pictures of this trip and campsites with numbers. I have several years worth all with site numbers of our groups also... Some good morning sunrises pictures(well I think so anyway).
have a great trip.. I'll be(go) back June 13th for 9 days and November 22nd for 8 days..

byrdr1, thansk for the info. We're hoping for nice weather to take a boat cruise, the extended forecast doesn't look to warm. But just hoping it's nice weather.
thanks

There is a boat trip along the Waccamaw River in Murrells Inlet. It is based at the Wacca Wache Marina. If you are into nature you will love this tour....

Also, there is a boat tour of historic old Georgetown....

I would also suggest the the one on Waccamaw river. Also, eat outside at the restuarant. If you like blacken seafood, their dishes are very good.

Many Cruises about 90 minutes south at Charleston, SC.
