Hello! Been a long time since I posted!

We’re thinking about getting a net TT. Currently have an 02 Outback 28BHS which we love, but there is just not enough sleeping room for adults. (It has a small dinette that converts to an even smaller bed; a jackknife sofa, and two small, skinny bunks in addition to the “queen” main bed in the front).

Below is what we’d really like to have:

- Large bed for me and husband
- LARGE shower (no more step tubs!)
- More than one "adult-sized" sleeping area (more than one hide-a-bed would be incredible!)
- A spot for a generator (to live permanently within the TT)
- And (the kicker….) -- ½ ton towable (Ford F150; max 6800lbs).

Does all (or nearly all) this dream criteria exist in a a single TT?

(I've been eyeing up some Toy haulers that could maybe have most of this too, but thought I'd check with the TT folks first....)

Thanks in advance for any feedback!

What is a "net TT"?

As to your request, I've seen TT's with two bedrooms but none that a 1/2 ton will safely pull. They may exist, but I bet they are few and far between. Good luck.

Well I would say look at the Zinger ZT29DB, it would fit most of what you want but the weight is a little on the heavy side for your truck. The genset could be handled but it doesn't have a set place for it.

I don't think it exists...sorry. You're probably looking at something a lot heavier than your trucks rating if you can find it at all. I'd arrange your priorities and try for as many as possible but be prepared to give up a few lower on the list.

Thanks, all, for the replies.

We will get a bigger Tow vehicle in the next few years I think, which should help.

However, if we keep the F150, I might try a toy hauler - KZ makes one (the MXT), and there's a 25 footer that might work (although I give up a big shower!).

Thanks everyone and happy camping!

We have a Surveyor SV 304. 34' long, Queen bed up front with 2 oversized bunks in rear and 2 smaller width bunks. Sofa and dinnette are a slide. Units dry weight is 6065 lbs. and can hold another 2895 lbs. We tow with a 2003 Expedition. We have acouple of quality control isues with the TT but otherwise we love it.
