While I was looking thru Forestriver's online brocshure, I saw where they have a testing area for testing their trailers after they come off the assembly line. Whoopy doo! They supposedlly started this in 2005. You can bet very few trailers actually go thru this facility. I know my 05 Forestriver never went thru this place or maybe it did. If it did, they missed alot. I had to laugh when I saw this. This is truly a bogus selling point.

And for each dissatisfied Forest River buyer there are a hundred who are completely happy! Go figure.

My trailer spent a week there while I waited on it. Since I picked it up it been towed over 35,000 miles without an issue so I don't know if they CAUGHT anything of not but it's been close to perfect. I'll buy again.

A test facility after the fact is a poor way to construct anything and ensure a quality product post assembly.
After 12 years in the Aerospace business as a FAA Certified Repairman I can say that the highest quality from any product comes from building quality INTO the process and product through the entire process.
Tailgate inspection is nice, but the least effective at correcting process issues. Since RV's are mostly built in a "piece work" assembly you can guess what would happen if a quality focused employee stopped the assembly process to fix a issue.
This is true with most RV manuf., certianly not just Forest River.

Maybe you could post some links to some factual information to backup your statement?
States I have spent the night in my current rig, bought three years ago.

I just traded an 05 Cedar Creek on a bigger Cardinal bunkhouse which is on order. I had one problem with my Cedar Creek and it was taken care of immediately under warranty in one day. I am satisfied with them, maybe I just got lucky. We will see.

I DID NOT SAY I WAS UNHAPPY OR DISSATISFIED WITH MY FORESTRIVER TRAILER. I was just stating my feelings about this so called test facility.
