The difference between using sheets with sleep sleeping bags versus a Travasak is that with the Travasak the sheets don't move. A Travasak is a sleeping bag with sheets that attach using Velcro.
I wash the bags once a year and the sheets after every trip.

For the kids, we put a sheet down and they use their sleeping bags. For us, we unzip my big sleeping bag and then cover up with sheets and blankets. If it gets too cold, the heater comes on. We are trying to use things we already have and not buy more stuff just for the camper.
Regardless of what you use, you will sleep better camping!

What?! That's not the way to do it. At least, according to my wife!

Up until we finally got king size beds in our PUP we have now (and the previous one we owned) we always used sleeping bags. DH and I would zip them together...cause I am always freezing and he is a 'hot box' that keeps me warm. LOL
Now that we have king size beds on both bunk ends...we use sheets/comforters. Even when the kids come camping with us or friends join us. So much more roomy than sleeping bags and you can pill up the comforters on your side...if the DH does not need that much to keep him warm...as in my case!
HAPPY CAMPING!!

We use sleeping bags. We have a pair that were purchased as a set to go together (and designed and packaged that way) that came from REI. In cold weather we add a down comforter on top, and in warm weather we roll back the top bag and use a sheet for a cover. We leave them laid out on the bed when we pop down. Works well for us.

When I was a kid, My parents had an 87 Starcraft Starflyer pup and we used sheets and blankets. They would leave the sheets on the bed and fold store the blankets under the matress when transporting it back home. They would set it up at home to let it air out about once a month for about a week and then let it back down. They didn't have signs of mildew or mold.

We have always used old sheets and blankets from the house, mostly mix matched and the blankets/comforters a bit ratty. Well we just bought a brand new pop up (our other one is 20 yrs old) so I think I am going to get some matching sheet sets and make denim quilts ( out of old jeans) for the bunks. I love the neatly made bed look. Whichever works as long as you are comfortable, just remember to make memories

We use a king size feather bed on top of the mattress, then flannel sheets in the cold, cotton in the warm. King size works best
Then a thick down comforter with a comforter cover on it.
We store the bedding in a tote when storing the pup and it fits nicely inside the pop up-same thing with the feather bed topper.
It's delicious!!!!

We are soft mattress folks, so we put a foam pad on top of the camper mattress. That is covered by a king sized sheet, as much to hold it in place as anything else. We use a top sheet, with opened out sleeping bags on top of that, but the kids just use sleeping bags. They shower at night before hopping in so we don't bother to wash them too often. After all, this IS camping, so our standards are not so high. The thing about the sleeping bag comforters is they help with the condensation issues.
