I wax mine by hand twice a year, spring and fall.
I keep hoping somebody here says you shouldn't wax them...that's the guy I want to listen to so I don't have to do it anymore.

Used Protect-All last summer. Waxed it twice (spring and when winterizing) and looked good upon uncovering this spring.

Yes I waxed my 27bh with mothers paste wax. Was surprised didn't take near as long as I thought. Black streak cleaner leaves it dull looking for time to wax it again.

Turtle wax twice a year.... judging by the Calendar, it's time to put on another coat.

Wax once a year - one coat with Mequirre's cleaner wax, 2nd coat on front of TT with Mequirres gloss wax. Bugs wipe off with damp cloth in 5 minutes. Hose it down with water and soft brush (bought soft brush that attaches to hose) and that's all that's needed. My 30' takes me 1 1/2 hours by myself. add 20 minutes for gloss coat on front. Watch decals - wax will take color off if rubbed. I just lightly wipe the wax on the decals to give it the uv protection of the wax.

If you wax - don't use anything but a car soap that says it won't strip wax coats (we use Mark V products for our cars and we use that for the TT as well). All other soaps (dawn, joy etc) will strip off your wax coat leaving all that work for nothing.

Not only will waxing keep your TT looking shiny and new, it also makes the nasty black streaks easier to remove during regular cleanings. If the weekend rains would stop here in MA I could actually get my rig ready for our maiden trip this season in 2 short weeks.
