We've been looking at both the Outdoor Resorts and the Hilton Head RV resort for a long 5 day weekend. I've checked out both websites and on rvpark reviews. Both look very nice, nothing bad in the way of reviews. Anyone stay at either, if so, what was your preference?

Thanks

We just returned from Florida with a stop off at the Hilton Head Harbor and Marina, not one you mentioned but a campground we really enjoyed..great scenery, nice pools with great views, marina, and a great restaurant overlooking the bay..sites are generous and the staff very accomodating..I would recommend this resort and we plan on staying there again...

We have stayed at both and when we go back to HH we will stay at the Motorcoach resort. It is closer to the ocean and has very nice bike trails from the CG to the beach. You pick your site at both places, our opinion the sites at the Motorcoach resort were much nicer. From the HH Harbor RV park you pay a toll (only $1) to go to the beach or you can take the business route to avoid the toll.

Enjoy your trip!

The Motorcoach resort is an easy bike ride to beautiful beaches, shopping, restaurants etc. It also has a nice pool, hot tub and tennis courts if you just want to hang around. It's a great location.

We loved the Harbor Resort, beautiful and peaceful. THe only advantage I saw in staying at the Motorcoach would be it is closer to the beach/restaurants, etc.

We stayed at the motorcoach resort and will again ask for a lake site. Upscale ORA resort that was an early one. We drove 30 miles South to Savannah, GA and Tybee Island and 30 minutes North to Beaufort, SC and Hunting Island. We even drove to Charleston, SC one day. Besides Hilton Head it is central to a lot of nice areas.

We've been traveling to Hilton Head Island for twenty years, but vacationing in the motorhome for only the past two years. We love the Outdoor Resorts and the location is much more convenient as others have stated. Grocery store, pharmacy, many restaurants, etc. are all within a short walk or bike ride. Also, FYI, all major rental car companies will pick you up at the resort if you need a car to rent. They have a couple of sites near the entrance that you can park at if you arrive after hours. The office opens daily at 9am.

The Marina is just off the intercostal waterway and has one of the best restaurants on the Island IMHO

The Coach resort is closer to the Beach and centrally located both are very nice if you want to fish the Marina might work if you want the beach the Coach Resort would be better. Both are fine so it is hard to make a bad decision.

Enjoy your time,
