I am thinking about buying a Cameo 33CKQ or a 34CK3. Can anyone tell me the loaded weight on the pin? If not, what are you using to pull these 5ers? I'm about to order a truck and I'd really like to know if I need a dually.

Thanks in Advance!

The Cameo is nice but also heavy Go with a 350,450 or 550 dually you will not regret it.I wish I had a dually but my 250 is paid for.And I don't want a truck note right now.

I have a 35KS3 and the loaded pin weight is about 3250 (with generator). I am just under what the rear axle on my 3500 single rear wheel is rated for. If I were buying a new truck to pull my Cameo I would go with a 3500 dual rear wheel.

I have an 05 Cameo 33CKQ with a generator and the empty(no water but full propane, and no personal items in the rv)is 1950lbs. I think the newer units are a little heavier. My UVW from the factory with the generator is 11,010 lbs. Hope that this helps.

We have an '02 F34CK3 (no generator). The dry pin weight is just under 2000 lbs. By the time we're loaded and ready for the road we're well over 2300 lbs. We pull it with a Dodge DRW 3500. We've never pulled it without a dually, so I have no reference for comparison with a SRW. I can say that the unit is very stable going down the road; side winds and meeting semi's have never been an issue. Good luck with your choices.

We have a Carrie lite which is heavier but the 3500 pulls very well pin weight 3400 I bought the dually for one reason if I blow a tire I know I can get to a off ramp and stay in control and that's the best reason to me

I have an 05 33CKQ. With the trailer gross weight of 14,069 the pin weight was 2,780. Trailer weight from the dealer was 12,100. The loaded weight was with 1/3 water, no generator and a full toolbox in the forward compartment. I originally pulled with an 05 F250. It pulled fine but I was concerned about stopping. Sometimes going down 4-6% inclines around curves it felt like the trailer was trying to push the rear end of the truck sideways so I limited my speed in those situations to 45mph to eliminate that feeling. I suggest you at least consider a 1 ton truck, the brand of your liking. I now pull with a dually.

We have an 08 34ck. We pulled it to Florida with a Chev. 2500HD, plenty of power, too heavy in the pin weight. Purchased a 3500HD Chev. This is plenty of truck for the fiver and is a wonderful vehicle.

Diesel dually. Any diesel will 'tow/pull it fine' but the dually will handle the pin weight.
