If there's a waiting line, take enough time to do it properly, but don't dilly-dally doing stuff that could be done elsewhere.
I dump, then pull forward (if there's enough room) and charge the tank, otherwise I skip it. Usually takes only about 5 min to get slinky out, empty both tanks (about 100 gallons if both near full) return slinky to it's storage and be on the way.

I've been doing this RV thing for awhile and am always amused at this obsession with cleaning "tanks".

Makes for interesting comments from the "believers" and "non-believers".

Regardless, we all develop the quickest way that works for us without making us want to down a 6-pack BEFORE doing it...

You are very fortunate with an attitude like that to have not met my brother. He has no patience for you.
He would assist you in finishing and it doesn't bother him to get arrested; oh well!
I hate doing things around people with him, its a pain to be around someone that is getting that upset. He is on drugs for it and they have calmed him down some but not enough for you're attitude.

Thank God for concealed handgun permits. Not a good idea these days to approach anyone with a bad attitude anymore. Especially in the woods.

I estimate it takes me 5-7 minutes on average.

I never flush the black tank if someone is waiting.

I do add a couple gallons of water to the black tank which will slosh around back there keeping stuff clean.

Wrong!
He is always carrying and would like nothing better than finding himself in a shoot out.
oh ya he used to competition speed shoot.
Unless you're at a boat ramp you will probably never meet him but I am sure there are those just like him in the RV world.
It just doesn't pay to have an ass attitude. Do you're business and move on. That's in anything you do where others are waiting. If the average time spent is 5 min and you take 10 you are inviting trouble. I myself would just wait quietly until about double average time then I would check the situation.

Newbe
Planning on purchasing a CLASS A or C+ in November.
Trying to learn whatever before we jump in.
