My favorite trip is anytime we all get out together camping, at any campground! Having the time spend together as a family is absolutely priceless!! We're going to the Black Hills this summer and can't wait!!

I had a GREAT time at the Albuquerque Balloon Festival this last October. However, the trip down and back was arduous.

I guess my first trip to Disneyland would still hold the top honors! On my 55th birthday, I walked out of the office for the last time. The next morning, Lady and I got into the Tioga and headed South. We arrived at Disneyland the day before Halloween, and after spending just a few hours in the park, I realized that it had all been worth it! Retirement was THE TICKET! After using up my 4 day park hopper ticket, we stopped at Universal Studios and then my brother's place at Ventura. I accompanied brother, his wife and their three daughters to Magic Mountain, then headed up the coast! What a splendid way to spend the first three weeks of retired life!

My favorite was last October. DGS5 wanted to go camping for his birthday. So we took the 5th wheel to a local state park on Thursday. Went to pick him up at school on Friday, he run to me screaming, Is Nana's Little House at the creek????

We had Friday night and all day Sat and then Sat night with just him. What a blast.

Every once else showed up on Sunday for the birthday party. He was the happiest little boy around. Every one went home late that evening. Early Monday morning, it started to rain. It rained all day Mon, so DH and I decided to stay an extra day, then heard it was supposed to rain all day Tues too. We spent two extra nights with no one else in the camp ground, except the camp host. Set under the awning and read, napped, what ever we wanted to do. Snuck off to Sonic and had a burger and ice cream. Wow, what a life!!!!!

I would have to say the 2 wk trip to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. The grant tetons are probably the most beautiful place I've been. Then there are the trips, particularly Yosemite where it rained for three days and we had the old borrowed tent trailer, those trips are the ones we laugh about the most. Each trip has it's priceless moments, either from the scenery, the things that go wrong, the friends you are with or the people you meet. A bad day of camping sure beats a great day at work!

we took a trip to the Smokey Mountains, earlier this fall,
when the leaves were in thier prime colors..
Altho, ive been there lots of times, this was the best ever..
We took some of our friends, and it was fun, having them on thier
first camping trip..
They came home and started shopping for a TT and now we go together
all the time...Its so much fun, but id never want to fulltime it, as
i like to have a place called home...
Camping is fun, relaxing, and a great place to eat..
We loved the cooking out, grilling steaks, etc..
Later this year we plan a trip to the Grand Canyon..
I can hardly wait, and its the same with our friends...
Ive never been on a trip that i didnt enjoy, so maybe my best trip
is yet to come...Gardening gurl

Thats easy... it was Oct 2005... my DH and I went camping... one more time before quitting for the winter... the place wasn't significant.. but we had a campfire all day.. listened to the Nebraska game on the radio... danced in the moonlight.. had a wonderful time... he died the next day in an accident. I believe in my heart God gave me that perfect fall weekend to cherish forever, and I do!

My favorite trip is our next one.

In the past it was the one we took to Yellowstone NP via Custer, SD, Devil's Tower, WY and Cody, WY. If you've been there before then I don't need to say anything more. If you haven't, make plans now.
