I am putting this post up because I'm sure someone has done some research (and/or) used these two hitches. I would like to get anew air type hitch-am considering the Air Ride and Air Safe. Any comments would be appreciated.

I think you will find they are one and the same. They went thru a slight name change last year or maybe the year before. I have the Air Safe and am very impressed with it.

I bought my AirSafe hitch for use on my travel trailer in 2005 and have used it from coast-to-coast. To save time, let me just say that everything they say on their web site has proved to be true for me. It's a great device.

I went through the same thing a few years ago. I finally decided to get an air pin box rather than an air hitch. The ride is not quite as good, but the cost was one third as much.

Perhaps your consideration may be between the Air Safe and the TrailerSaver.
The TrailerSaver comes in one piece with only 2 bags. It should be deflated before hitching/unhitching. One person will not be able to lift it, you'll need a hoist or crane or some such. The 4 bag Air Safe (I have the 25K) can be disassembled into 4 parts that one person can handle. Important to me, as I need the bed far more often than I tow.
An air pin box goes with the trailer (probably wouldn't fit your next rig anyway). An air hitch will work with future rigs. And you might as well get the 25K.
edited to correct product name. Brain burp.

Just bought a Air Safe 25k. I emailed lots of Air Safe owners and did not get one negative reply.
The Trailer Saver seems like a good quality hitch what turned me away was having to buy spacers if it was not the correct height you needed.
And I also like the 4 Firestone Airbags that comes with the Air Safe.I have a set of Firestone Ride-Rite Airbags on my truck and they have been great. Been 3 yrs. and no leaks good quality.
Trailer Saver I think have goodyear air bags. But it's your decision to make go with the one that best fits your needs and setup.Good luck which ever one you decide to go with.
