Hi All

Well we made it! One piece and no issues! put on 2361 miles and averaged 11.3 mpg all in all we did better than expected.

We we able to get in Taos RV Emporium ( Walmart) got the best site and free WiFi connection too! I now know why so many people go camping at Walmart! lol

Tomorrow we're going to wash the truck & trailer then checkout a couple CG's and get all set up, we'll be here for a week so where ever it is its got to be close to the wedding and functions , clean and hook ups.

Congratulations !!!! If you can make time, there is an old Pueblo village at the end of town which is one of the oldest around, interesting to see, Also there is a church that has a full size picture of Christ that changes in the dark and shows a luminescent cross if I remember correctly but there is no explanation why. Things to see and won't take much time.

Jay, you never said if you've gotten your Verizon aircard/internet service working properly again, any luck?

Gerry no luck with Verizon, they say its a Microsoft issue?

I have been grabbing a WiFi connection in the Walmart Parking lot when we come into Taos, otherwise it's wherever I can get a connection.

So far everything has gone well,no issues andI hope to keep it that way!

We went white water rafting early today on the Rio Grande, we're getting a few things here at WM then we're heading up to the Gorge bridge and pssible over to Eagle's nest and Angel Fire.

Tomorrow got an oil change scheduled, ladies getting nails done, tomorrow evening is rehearsal dinner. On Saturday we'll probably do some site seeing before the wedding , then its a 7pm ceremony with a 9pm reception? Sunday we'll be moving on to AZ. Monday we should be at the Grand Canyon till Friday.

Hopefully I can start posting photo's at the GC, the CG is suppose to have WiFi.

Hi Jay,

Glad to hear you made it there safely. Looking forward to reading about the rest of your trip. You should be compiling lots of stories to tell us at the fall rally!

We're currently in Joseph City AZ,in a "Trailer Park", say's RV park but definitely a "Trailer Park". We came across a spectacular thunder and lightning storm late yesterday so we grabbed the first CG available, full hook ups, 50 amp power and WiFi connection. Really not that bad , I suppose for $15 a night we can't complain.

Gerry

We did finally get the cell phone modem to work, took two hours at a Verizon store and another hour reloading new Verizion software and its functioning, finally!

As soon as the ladies are done getting ready we'll be on our way to the Grand Canyon, where I hope I can start posting photos.

That's so typical. they blame Microsoft AFTER you had it working okay and then it stops...I get so tired of these types of companies always immediately laying the problem on somebody else! Glad you got it resolved...now keep enjoying your travels.
