We had that problem too -- turned out to be the decorative screen protector. A little museum putty fixed it right up.

pingpong - You are correct DW is pretty strong for a little petite person, I don't mess with her, but she would either pull on the outer door or push on the screen door, the rattle would stop until she let go, that's when I realized that we were not getting the outer door fully closed. Haven't had any issues with the door since.

We also used the stick on weather stripping. Purchased at WalMart, worked great.
