Here's two (2) Options to look at:
McKesh Towing Mirrors $139.99
Large 6" x 9" mirror
Fits firm minimizes vibration
Fits virtually all vehicles
Will not mar car finish
On and Off in seconds
All parts available factory direct
Special non-rust finish
All steel construction
Extends up to 20"
Optional convex spotting mirror
Mounts on door or fender
Satisfies state law requirements for towing mirrors
Cipa Towing Mirrors
Pair for $54.99
Others will chime in with more information on these and other options for you to view and decide...

CIPA also makes a set of strap-on towing mirrors that are similar to the McKesh (though they lack the wide-angle mirror); cost should be similar to McKesh. That's what we used with our previous tow vehicle, as the clip-on-mirror extensions didn't fit.

Here's a link to the McKesh mirrors that SemperFiCop mentioned above. I've been using them for 4 years, easy on, easy off, easy to adjust!

I first bought the CIPAs, but could not keep them on the truck. From the suggestions on RV.NET, I purchased the Tow-n-See
Love them, easy on and off, stable, no noise and best of all low $$ !

Can't beat the McKesh for furthest out extension. HOWEVER, they don't fold if you hit something with them, and will likely bend your door metal. We have used the CIPA slide-on mirrors on our Yukon and it gives an additional 5 inches on each side and allows the fold-in feature to work (hit button on GMC to pull in mirrors in parking lots, etc.). We leave them on the entire time we are RVing, up to 8 months. Works well for us.
Power Vision makes a motorized extension mirror that goes in or out at touch of a button, but they cost over $500.

I use the Cipa slip on mirrors that match my truck mirrors. I purchased them at Camping World and have been very pleased with them.
Here is a link:

I purchased at the CW store and they let me take a set out to my truck and try them out before I purchased.

Another vote for McKesh ... while not the nicest looking things, they are great for seeing!

I use the Tow-n-See mirrors ($25/mirror). They attach to your existing mirrors via suction cup, very stable and can be adjusted via you power mirrors (if you have power mirrors). I use the convex version on both sides which gives a slightly wider view and I don't have to figure which one goes on what side.

Be careful of the TOW-N-See mirrors with the suction cup depending on what truck or car you are planning to use them on. My factory mirror glass was recessed back into the plastic mirror frame far enough that the fixed arm on the tow-n-see wouldn't clear it. The other disadvantage is wherever the suction cup is attached you lose that much vision out of your original mirror.
I ended up taking a loss on them by selling them on Ebay and getting the McKesh.
