If anyone wants to try/needs a set of the CIPA slip on mirrors I have a set that I used when I had my 99 Suburban. They are like new in the original box with the instructions. They fit most fo the GM trucks though the mid to late 90s If they are something you can use make me an offer. KWIK39@aol.com

You can't go wrong with McKesh. I searched for slip on's for my 2005 Tacoma. CIPA claimed to have a model that fit but it was really only in their dreams. Only issue I've had with McKesh was the lock washers between the mirror posts and the brackets. Failed on me three days into a two week vacation. Got new washers at Lowe's and no issues since. I have the basic mirrors plus the convex add-on.
They are easy on and off, just be sure to avoid trapping dirt between the contact pad and the finish.
