This could help. New fuel economy standard will be 31.6 mpg
Not sure but B and C's may hit the van class requirements. Do not know how it applies to gas and diesel A's.

BTW, this thread is losing steam, and looks like it's running out of g-a-s.............

Are there other companies or industries taking advantage of you? I'm just curious. Maybe the Cops that won't let you park on the street or something?
I'm sure there are, but none are apparent like this. And no, even when they are wrong, the cops are not taking advantage of me. Besides, they aren't the ones making the laws, and actually were very nice about it. But it doesn't matter, I've fixed the situation.

Net income for Exxon Mobil Corp. for 2007 by quarter (in billions):
1Q: 9.28
2Q: 10.26
3Q: 9.4
4Q: 11.66
Sales of gasoline were down for the 4th quarter, but profits are significantly up. But, nope, we aren't being taken advantage of...

If we pursued our own resources, the price of fuel and food would decrease. Oil fields in Alaska, Colorado, Montana, Dakotas, and off-shore can produce tremendous supplies. The Sierra Club and others of their ilk will not allow Washington to do it. Build new refineries, nuclear plants and more coal burning plants. This will lessen the depletion of oil and the market will drive fuel prices down. Until the weak-kneed politicians stand up to the lefty environmentalist, get used to high prices.

I try to spend as much time writing to my legistlators as I do typing away on this site discussing the issue. Sometimes I doubt our legistlators READ our letters but I doubt less they visit rv.net forum. Point here is, voice your opinion to your govt, it is still a free country. At least you can say you voiced your opinion to where you were supposed to -> elected officials.

What does the drilling in the U.S. have to do with the prices of oil. Do you believe that if you can sell oil at $118.00 per barrel on the world market, you would sell the oil only in the U.S. for $50.00 a barrel?
