Since others are posting - here is an expanded metal that also hinges up when pulling trailer.

How are you all fastening the side supports (chains, cables, etc.) to the camper? Do you remove one of the bolts from the jack bracket on each side and replace it with an eye bolt? I want to carry a generator on one end of a hitch haul and need something extra to support it.

How are you mounting your grill? I've had a couple attempts and am happy with neither so far although last year was about the best so far.

Here I mounted a piece of 2x8 to the deck frame with U-bolts that also acted as the attachment of a piece of aluminum tube that supports the grill. It allows for infinite height and rotational adjustment based on wind or whatever. But it wasn't as solid as I'd like.

Ron,

The decks look nice, but how does that effect your ability to use the bathroom while on the road?

My kids can fit through the window in the cab, but that's no longer an option for me.

the deack stays down when travleing so not an acces issue. if we have the boat we do fold it up and just fold it down real quick. just takes a lil planning and bout 1-2 min to drop. we dont have it up to much though usually just use it in the down position. the grill is just siting there but will be put on with a few mods i am waiting for parts. i will have it done for the rally to view.
