a) Year of F150 2006
b) Motor 5.4
c) Gearing 3.73
d) 4WD or 2WD 4wd
1) Trailer? Rockwood 2701ss
2) Length 33.5'
3) Dry wt around 5000 lbs
4) Gross wt around 6500 lbs
5) How does it tow?
Tows well, not afraid to raise RPM in mountains. Using an e-qual-izer brand hitch and sway control - does a good job, although you can feel a little sway with high cross winds.

See sig for truck. TT is about 5000lbs wet. Another 4-500lbs or so in the bed when we're fully loaded with gens, gas, wood, extra water, etc.
ON EDIT:
How does it tow? With the long wheelbase it is as stable as I could possibly want. And with the WDH it rides as smooth as a passenger car (well, pretty close anyway). HOWEVER, the motor is a turd. Sure it's as reliable as an anvil, but it's a gutless wonder. I traded in a 2wd Ram 2500 to get the 4x4 F150. And while overall the F150 is a nicer vehicle, the RAM was a better truck; especially with that Hemi. If I'd have listened to my DW in 2003 when we bought the Ram and had gotten a 4wd, I'd still have that truck. Oh well.

It tows great, even with equalizer bars. I just use a sway control.
It would be better if I had the 3.73 gears, ... maybe in the next truck.

a) Year of F150? 2001 Supercrew w/ tow package
b) Motor? 5.4L Triton V8
c) Gearing? 3.55
d) 4WD or 2WD? 4WD
1) Trailer? 2002 Springdale 268BHGL (w/ slideout)
2) Length? 28'
3) Dry wt? 5715lbs
4) Gross wt? 7555lbs
5) How does it tow? No problems so far. We live in the mountains of WV and it does great. Don't top the mountains at high speeds, but plenty fast for me. I've been pleased with the performance from this truck. Get about 9-11mpg towing, which is about par from what I've read.

Trailer weighs 6780 dry (from factory), trip-ready with full water is right at 7800#. Tows pretty decent...so far we haven't tried the "big" hills west of here. Gas mileage: I try not to think about it.
