Get a Thermo Cooker - no electricity, no plug ins. Load the inner canister at night and refrigerate, bring to a boil 1st thing in the morning, place inside the outer insulated canister and close the lid. Cooks in it's own heat - you can set it in the back seat of your car/truck/toad, you name it. Love mine!
