My sister in law has qwest internet and says she cannot watch video, like CNN, My Tube, etc., on her computer.
I have cable and have no problem with video's.
Is her problem because she is going though phone lines or is there a program that needs to be changed in her computer?
Thanks,
Ken
(PS. She thinks I know everything about computers. . . .. little does she know where I get my info)

I have Qwest DSL and everything works and works very well. Very reliable. Is she on dial-up or DSL?

I have Qwest DSL as well and things are great here. We don't have a TV, and watch anything we do watch online.

We're in the midst of dropping our cable internet provider ($61.99 per month with regular increases) for Qwest 1.5mb DSL ($31.99 per month, price for life). I've been able to "test drive" Qwest by piggybacking on my neighbors wireless system, so I'm confident it will be fine for videos and everything else I do.

Question for those of you that have had Qwest DSL for awhile: if you're on the road and without access to wifi or other alternative sources, can you use the Qwest dialup numbers for (much slower, of course) internet access?
