You hadn't been to Jersey until you pay taxes or buy a stick house.....

While unleaded is a bit cheaper here...7% sales tax....6 % income tax on average...and the average property tax bill is a bit over $9000 (that's average) --- some people pay well to 15K....

There are four houses on my street for sale---each asking 700K plus for about 2800 sq ft with 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths.

I forgot to tell you guys the newest thing in this area is the old cash/credit trick...A big giant say says the price of gas which is about 3 cents cheaper than the next guy.....there is an iddy biddy teeny tiny itsy bitsy sign that is in the window that states the credit price which is 10 cents more a gallon....since debit cards are considered credit cards...my wife and I pass...what a bait/switch cheesy thing to do in this economy especially when debit cards get the owner an immediate credit to his account whereas cash leaves the guy open to be robbed...

$1 increase in price at 7.5 miles/gal = $1351.00 more for a 10,000 mile year of RVing.
If you only do 5000 miles a year, it's only $675 or so...Gee Whiz!

Big deal!
My MH will depreciate several more times that this year.
Go RVing!
Have FUN!

IGNORE the fuel costs!

PS....most MHs will lose more than that in value any way, no matter what year MH you have...so go RVing!

ENGLAND PRICES

1 Litre of GAS (Unleaded Petrol) £1.13p, per Gallon £5.85p, in $ thats $10.17 per Gallon, Diesel is £1.19p per Litre $10.71

Now work out how much it would cost you in England to run your RV!!!

Then you will see that your Gas prices are very very very cheap!!!
