My television is blurry and the picture has moved down a little bit as I an havinf trouble seeing the words at the bottom of the screen. I want to keep the tv and fix it myself if possible. Anyone out there know what I would have to do to fix these two problems? Thanks

There is nothing inside a TV that a Non-Electronics person can fix!
There are things that can KILL you!
The high voltage supply caries several thousand volts long after you have shut the TV off.
Stay out of it!
You have to know how to short the supply to ground before you can safely start messing with things inside!
Sorry but it is usually cheaper today to buy a new TV than to fix an old one.

Not sure how late your model of TV is but on my later models there is an up/down adjustment on the remote.

Well... Drink coffee instead of that other stuff

Several answers here.. The URL others have given may help. I don't know

DE-Gauss... Normally CRT (Picture tube) type televisions do this on power up but if it's been powered for some time,, Unplug, let it sit for a few minutes, plug back in and turn on... Odds of success are very small, but cost is $0.00

If it needs internal repair.. Unless you can do it yourself, replacement is indicated.

Considering that next year we go all digital, And considering the savings in power along from converting from a Pic-Tube job to an LCD or other flat screen, may well pay for the upgrade over time... Consider a digital upgrade now.
