My son is talking of getting one of those motorhomes which drives like a truck -- looks like a motorhome in back, truck in front, and I have seen them in parks, but didn't catch the brand.
They are silver and biggggg - tall and long. Can anyone help with a brand or setting me in the right direction?

Could it be any of the Kodiak chassis rigs? Or is he looking at the ones that have the BIG rig truck fronts, with the Internationals? There are plenty of larger units. Sorry I can't help more...

Do a google search on Renegade RV. I saw a couple of these at SEMA in Vegas and in the RV park at Circus Circus. Really neat job . The one we went thru was on a Volve hiway track chassis but with three slides. Good hunting.

How big are you talking about? If you are talking about the class 8 size rigs they are called truck conversion motorhomes.
There are about a dozen builders. Some are custom shops.
Two of the more common brands are Haulmark and Renegade.
Go look at their web sites to see if this is what they are talking about.
The Renegade is www.kibbi.com
www.Haulmark.com
The silver one you describe, if the cab is more of a pickup size cab, is probably the Earthroamer. www.earthroamer.com

Thanx - wow they even have 4-wheel drive mini-motorhomes don't they? Whole different scenario than a motorhome like we have known for years.
