We're back from Cisco Grove. It was GREAT! The weather was very much cooler than the 102 at home. The snow melted very fast. Every day we were able to get a little further up into the mountain with the quads... Until the last day when the snow because way too slippery and the trail became just too much work of pulling each of the quads out of the snow about every 25 feet or so..
However, they are really ignoring that campground.. it's too bad.
Next we're off to Tahoe for Memorial Day...

Light sprinkles in lake county. Nice weather beats the 104 last weekend. We are heading off to lower lake parade today.
Hopper the jack rabbit came within ten feet of me today. I guess the animals are getting used to us.

After last weeks hot weather we thought the rains were finished until fall! At least the temperature is much more comfortable and the fire danger is reduced. Great camping weather!!

No, we went for a cruise on the bay on the hornblower yacht. Where I promptly used the head, bent over to flush....my $250 prescription sunglasses down the drain......
It was gray and dreary, and blurry......
