How is everyone doing in this heat? I have noticing how interesting the weather has been the last few weeks between the heat, being windy, and being cool-very strange weather patterns. Hope all is well with everyone!

We are doing well. Just not enjoying the heat. Not doing any camping, but really have the bug to go SOMEPLACE. Sort of planning a trip to Oregon even though the chances of going are pretty slim.

Have fun!

Just brought the trailer back from Lake county where it has been since Mid April. Sure was nice saving gas, walk up turn on the propane and batteries, open the door and make dinner
Came home and washed it, and the awning in 102 degrees

We got back yesterday from 5 weeks on the road to Niagara Falls and Ontario, Canada. Good to be home again, but when we drove through South Lake Tahoe yesterday morning, we were tempted to stop again for a few days. Maybe next time.

Rick and Butch- You GOOFBALLS! Actually, I am surprised the old thread wasn't bumped off the thread already.

Butch- Hope Karla got off early enough for you 2 to go out for a bite to eat and see some fireworks in your area.

Thought I'd bump this thread since this looks like the rally we can attend.
Looks like Steve is going back to work. Although we planned carefully for early retirement and fun, we didn't expect the fuel prices and increases in everything else... and a child to get through college.
It's part time with the fire depart. and flexible so it's a good fit.
I promised to be his secretary since his computer skills are a bit lacking!

Kris-You are awesome! What a bummer for Steve! At least it's back to something he loves to do. I hear ya on the price increase of everything. I am noticing the increase when I food shop and can't believe the prices especially for the fruit and veggies.

Kris,
We're facing the same thing. I'm actively looking for something to offset the ever-increasing expenses. Hopefully, that will allow us to do MORE camping!

Glad Steve is able to get back and do what he likes.

Have fun!
