with being on-line. It's really getting to suck.
I have two PCs a one month old Gateway notebook running Vista and 3 yr old Dell desk top running XP. Both have the same problem IE 7 quits responding. I could on-line pay bills,up loading pictures, reading the forums, working on my scrapblog, down loading music what ever it is IE 7 quits no reason just quits responding then IE either shuts it self down or I have to force the computer to shut down and reboot it. I have done the IE updates I have my virus protection up to date. I just think this whole internet thing as gone bad I think it's trying to kill us off by driving us insane.

Try Firefox, way less problems. I haven't used IE since I found it a few years ago. It doesn't crash!

Not sure it's your problem but there's a problem with the Yahoo toolbar. If you have it installed that might be the issue. There's supposed to be a new version but I'm not sure as I just uninstalled it completely.

Only IE 7 problem I've had was self inflicted when I uninstalled some Dell software, had to reinstall my PC security package to get IE to work without shutting security down.

I switched to FireFox during the first beta and haven't gone back to IE. I haven't allowed the auto update to give me IE7 either. I just don't have any reason to use IE anymore, Firefox works on every major site I've been on and with a few add-on's like NoScript, AdBlockPlus, and a few others my browser is much more secure from potential bad sites.
As it has already been said, give Firefox a try.
