Well I got the camper out for the first time this year. Decided to go somewhere with NO snow. So we drove about an hour from my home to the Crooked River below Prineville Reservoir in Central Oregon. Very nice trip and the weather was awesome. There was hardly anybody in the campground, very private.

It sure is peaceful! Nice to see some Oregon mountains WITHOUT snow. We still have little tiny patches here and there in the yard...... looking forward to our 1st outing too.

Steven,

Great pics and it looks like you had a good first trip of the year.

Great looking truck by the way (looks a lot like mine).

I've been to the same campground in June, seeing all the fish jumping at dusk taking insects was a awesome site, very nice area.

Love that area. Our kids lived over in Powell Butte up until last month. I really enjoyed going over to see them & camp over there. Wife & I just might retire over to the dry side of the mountain.
