We have a 15 in flat screen tv for the camper. i remove it and put in on the bed when traveling. Is there anything I can get so I can leave it up on the shelf?

My mount is bolted to the wall of the entertainment center behind the TV. 35,000 towing miles without a problem.

I used to store ours flat on the bed but then read that it's not good for a flat screen to be stored flat. Now I put it between the bed and side wall and fill in with pillows to transport.

Hmmm, never heard that one. I wonder if it's for Plasma vs. LCD.

I toss ours on the bed and so far so good. Twice I forgot and it fell done and bounced around on the floor for a couple of hundred miles. Bit of a worry but it seems OK.

If you don't like drilling holes in your RV then try these TV Grips.
Go to www.campingworld.com and search for " TV Grips"

Been using them 3 seasons now. No problems..

Happy trails,

I have a 19" LCD that I mounted on one of those swivel arms. The shelf is located in a corner next to an overhead cabinet. I used some 1/4" hardwood for reinforcement on both sides of the cabinet wall and bolted through it. I also put a srtip of velcro on the bottom of the television and on top front edge of the shelf.

When we are travelling, it sits on the shelf secured by the velcro and the arm, when we are using it , we can swing it out to point it almost anywhere.

I have mine mounted with a swing arm as well.

When we travel, I just swivel it as close to the mounted wall as possible and stick a pillow underneath of it.

The swivel arm that came stock with my new trailer has a spring-loaded locking pin that goes through the arms on both sides of the "elbow", locking them together. There's also a nylon strap with fastek clip that goes around the whole thing for redundency.
