We have wanted to stay in this park but its always full when we want to go. We have driven through and it looks really nice. The beaches are beautiful.

We camped there in a pop up several years ago. The campground is at the far end of the barrier island over a long bridge from the mainland. remote, peaceful, beautiful beach. Beach not real close to campground because of dunes and trees etc. The beach is isolated from the rest of the island. buy food and supplies before you go over the bridge. a few eating places on island but not many. We liked it because it is peaceful and remote. campground is big rig friendly, also. We didn't have cell service in campground.long road to bike ride on, too.
I have pics on my profile page.
We just returned fro St George. We were there for 9 days.I have not loaded my pics yet from last week.
Bridge to Island 4 miles.Nearest grocery store in Piggly Wiggly in Apalachicola about 20 miles.
Very remote, quite. The bugs were awful.
We tried everything. The Rangers said they use Cutter Advanced. We bought Liquid Fence. It worked some.We bought in on the Island.
If you need help with a site just let me know.
The only thing to do on the Island is fish or sunbath.
