What full size pickup has the most room in the back seat. Looking to buy one in the future we have kids so we need something with room for them.

If you need a long bed, you gotta go with the Ford. I had a 2001 F350 CC and it had miles of room. If you can handle the shorter bed, the Dodge Mega cab is where it's at. Toyota claims the Crew max has the most room but after sitting in one, that is subjective. That also makes your bed MUCH smaller.

Between the Chevy and Dodge's, I would say Dodge has more room but a SORRY seat. You are still setting on a short seat. Why have all that extra room and cut the seats so short?

If you want a 1/2 ton for lighter towing, get the Tundra Crewmax. If you need more capability, get a Dodge Megacab 2500 or 3500 SRW.

I haven't had one problem with fiver towing. I have a slider in any case, but have never used it. I bought a short bed because it would fit in my garage without issue, but wouldn't it figure that I have only done that like one time. If I could do it over again, I would have bought a long bed just on principle.

PSD: you need to resize that pic man, it is a monster.

Space wise we have no complaints about room with our F250 CREW CAB. Our two teenage sons have plenty of knee room and it easily sits three in the back. My only concern is that ours does not have head rests in the back seat. Also go on line to compare all the makes and models of the trucks you are interested in. The sites will list all the specs for you. Good Luck

For a really BIG back seat, there's only two choices: Crew Max and Mega Cab.

The Tundra Crew Max and Dodge Mega Cab are almost identical dimensionally. The Crew Max is very nice if you can live with the short bed. Also, the rear doors open way up to almost 90 degrees.

The Mega Cab's flat rear floor is nice too.
