I just finished the paperwork on my second Jayco, the Eagle 341RLQS. I'm doing the PDI on Friday afternoon. Do any Eagle owners out there have suggestions for things I really need to look for during the PDI? Are there any issues with your Eagle that aren't obvious (e.g. look behind the tv to make sure it is mounted correctly). I'm looking for anything that has been a consistent issue with Eagles, or more specifically the 341RLQS (hopefully there aren't any), that I may be able to get corrected while I'm doing the PDI.
Thanks in advance.

I don't have the eagle, but the designer 34RLQS same floor plan.If it's your second Jayco you already know the quality put into to these units.I do not believe you'll find anything out of the ordinary my only problem with my PDI was the CO2 sensor was missing and they installed one in minutes. After I got home and was running the heater the area left side of steps was very hot found the duct off the heater which runs to the bathroom.I put that back on and those have been the only problems with our unit we've had it about six months.
I have the 341 RLQS. The main problem I had was floor squeaks. They had to drop the entire bottom to fix the problem. The rest was just more of a nuisance than a real issue. However, I figure once you notice something, it won't go away on it's own. It is a well built unit and we really like it. We put JTs on it because it was the only way I could get rid of all the shaking with all those slides out.
Check to make sure the over-flow hoses for the fresh tank have been cut through the underbelly. There should be two of them. Sometime they forget to do that had you have water flowing from all over! Enjoy Jayco #2

We have the same fifth wheel, a 2008, and found not one problem with it during the PDI. Although not a big deal, I have since found a couple of burrs on the edge of the counter top. Just run your hands along the edges to make sure all the edges are smooth. Also, you might want to see if you can get your dealer to throw in some extra of the plastic latches for the mirrored closet doors. They're quite cheaply made and we have broken a couple of them already.
There were a couple of things that bothered us that we changed right away. I didn't like that the medicine cabinet opened to the right because it kept hitting the wall, so I had my DH reverse the door so it opens to the left. Also, I am 5' 7" tall and the height of the shower was such that it sprayed me right in the face, so I had him put in an adjustable height slider.
The unit couldn't be better. Although we have only had it out once, we had no problems and we are very pleased with it so far.
Enjoy!

We have a 31' 2005 Eagle and have our share of problems. The worst was having a full water tank coming loose from the support straps on a 400 series Hwy. (Interstates) and left dangling inches from the pavement supported by a gas and water line.
I'm not sure how you would pre-check for that, since the supports are hidden under the belly cover. But it's something I keep an eye on all the time.
BTW our local dealer was great and provided a speedy repair.
