Has anyone found any value in putting Reflectix Foil Insulation under your mattress(es) to reduce cold air seeping in through the wood?
Thanks for your time.

I haven't done it but some of the people on Popup Explorer have and they swear by it.

We have it under our mattress and we made inserts of the windows on the bunkends. We notice a difference.

they make a big difference under the mattress. first time we did it, I left a small patch undone and wow, very cold. The inserts for the windows also work great and also cut out lights from cars and other campers as well as early sun rises. Also use the popup gizzmos for the tent material over the bunks, you will be warm as toast and use less propane for heating. best wishes, Bill P.S Also used it in windows when it was 103 outside, AC works better and easier.

We refurbished a hardside pop-up a few years back & placed the reflectix on the bunk end wood, then carpeting (new scraps left over from office work) & then our foam mattress. What a difference! It also added a layer of padding as well.
We currently have a TT that has a ton of large windows. They are single pane, so I made window covers using the reflectix. Helps in hot & cold weather as well as keeping the TT darker in the morning. They fit pretty well in the underbed storage when not needed.
