I own and full time in a Escalade and wife and I love it but I don't think a comparison with Teton is fair it is like bananas and pineapples just 2 different things but still fruit, a high end Escalade is a low end Teton, if money is no object go with the Teton but if your retired and have to watch your spending you cant go wrong with a Escalade

well I went to the Wichita Rv Show back in Jan. and went take a look at both. If I had to choose I would take the Teton that is a really nice Rig.The woodwork was very nice almost felt like a home not a camper.

We've been full-timing in our Escalade for 2 1/2 years and really like it. The big difference? I can afford an Escalade but not a Teton. I'd have to do illegal stuff to get a Teton. We're in the process of looking at Escalade Sportsters..... I don't think you could go wrong with either unit. Do yourself a favor...go to the factories and look before you buy. That may make a huge difference. Good luck!

I agree with seniorEM. If you're going to drop that kinda $$$, be certain you get the floorplan you like & "sweat the small stuff". We found some details on the Teton model we were considering that we couldn't live with.

Apparently you've been around for awhile, so you should know what to look for.

Personally, we feel we got the best bang for our buck & the people at KZ have been OUTSTANDING...not just warranty but...!

Would we buy another Escalade? In half a heartbeat!

And yes, this was our fourth 5er.

It just depends on what you want DH didn't want hydraulic slides. So we went with Escalade over Teton. We have only had ours a short time but so far everything is wonderful. Sometimes it depends on the dealer and ours is great. Robbins RV in Idabel Oklahoma.

Yes the New Horizons trailer is one highley rated RV, but this is only one persons take on them, and of course I could be wrong. They remind me of a rich young gal that was very reliable and had the means to take very good care of you, but she was homely as a mud fence.

I don't have the Escalade but I do have the little sister (Montego Bay). Quality has been great. We love the unit. I had a question about something and called K-Z. In less than a minute, I was on the phone with the product line manager for Montego Bay. Very professional and very committed to customer satisfaction. WOW.

I bought from K-Z because of the floorplan, finish-out and customer service after the sale.

I can't help you with the Teton but I wanted to providd some testimony regarding K-Z.

Good luck!
