Prineville Reservoir, Diamond Lake, LaPine are a few good ones, but they are nowhere near the coast. I think you have your geography messed up. There are a BUNCH of great Oregon state parks on the entire coast.
Sandra,
Pick any Oregon State Park anywhere in Oregon.. We have stayed at most all of them and they are all first rate. Poke around this site. Hope this helps. Oregon State Parks
check out the link provided by downtheroad, and pick a park just about any park. Reserve now! they fill quickly if they are not already slim pickins. EDIT: Our favorites are Sunset bay & Washburn.
fyi, east of the cascades is usually called central Oregon. Until you get to the klamath basin, in the southern area. Not to be confused with Eastern Oregon or Southern Oregon, or the central Oregon coast. North coast, south coast, central coast are generally accepted terms. Unfortunately central coast is not part of central Oregon, are you confused yet, that is why you got a few strange responses.
As stated, better get reservations, because as soon as the sun starts to shine, the nice plug in parks get booked up solid.
Good luck
