I think I got you guys all beat .

Vancouver Island BC canada gas is 126.9 a liter (basically a $1.27)

1 liter = .26gallon so x4 $5.08 a gallon for gas

disiel I think was arouns 1.50- 1.60 liter which is 6.40 a gallon

cost me over 150 to fill my F150

Price of fuel really sucks... I regret buying a new RV (and diesel truck) in 2007 even though I've been camping all my life. The costs of everything just don't make it worth it anymore.

i keep waiting for the american people to wake up and DEMAND better from our leaders. they should either
1) regulate it like the ele comapny.
2) break up the oil companies like they did to Ma Bell. you got what, 4 or 5 major companies that play OPEC and set the prices and they all charge the same-where's the competition?
3) take it off the stock market. every time a seagull on an oil rig farts, the price goes up. once it went up because it was the start of hurricane season-didn't have one and nothing got damaged but the price went up. one i heard a week or so ago-they think the national reserves will be down a little-and the price went up.
the oil companies aren't the only ones getting rich-check out wall street some time.
could go on but it's been a long day and i just spent $60 for 16.9 gal @$3.549 and got 1/2 tank of gas.

I drive around 35-40 miles each way for my daily commute. I have reduced my speed to no more than 60 mph and have been able to keep my fuel mileage in the 18-19 mpg range with the TV in sig. I do switch with the wife 2 days a week and drive her Honda Accord to help with the fuel cost. $125 fill-ups hurt!!

And when you get passed do people look at you as the lucky smart one or the annoying person holding up everyones business and creating a traffic hazard?

People can blame others all they want but until they look in the mirror and see the problem nothing will change. Kudos to you for taking some action. Now if everyone could reduce usage by a gallon a week we would have 100 million gallons per week in extra inventory to put pressure on reducing prices.

Kudos to you for helping make a difference.

So Cal is #3.70 for gas and $4.40 for diesel. No end is sight as Crude is now $116 a barrel. Probably see some good deals on RVs this summer. I have a TT and a diesel TV-- but will still travel-- some!

Seems the govt is willing to bail out the financial industry but not make the oil industry behave??? I believe in a free market and limited government as much as the next guy, but if the govt is not going to let the financial markets fail on their own, they should not let the oil companies take advantage of us either!

I love that statement and its so true. Its a farce.

We have petroleum coming out our ears in Canada and we pay hugely for gas/diesel up here.

If one thing will ruin the economy, its Fuel costs. EVERYTHING requires fuel to get to market and that gets passed on to us. I don't think there's a good answer to this.

I'm glad to see fuel rising. Hopefully it gets to the point where some of the idiots driving, talking on there cell phone, putting on makeup, reading a book won't be able to afford drive for entertainment anymore.

Do I like paying more for fuel? NO. But I see the same amount of traffic with one person in the car driving as fast as they can to hit starbucks and wait in line for there 6$ latte.... as long as that is happening it is going to keep rising. Might as well get used to it..

4.49 diesel in my little local station. What pisses me off is the tax WA st collects which is a percentage of the base fuel price instead of a fixed fee..
