Does that sound convincing? Should I throw a few coughs in there at some point?

It is suppose to be 83 on Fri, 86 on Sat & Sunday. I am going camping!! I am going to call out of work sick tomorrow so I can get an early start on a relaxing weekend.

That reminds me of the day I was so sick I couldn't make the 4 mile drive to work and sit at a desk for 8 hours. I was somehow able to ride the motorcycle 10 miles (via a 150 mile detour for fuel) to the airport and fly between the mountains for 5 hours that day but that's kind of how those plagues go...

80 degrees and sunny in the forecast...I already have a vacation day booked for tomorrow, heading up to open camp (summerize, install 360 degree vent cover & new mud dauber screens, paint the deck, etc.) and have a liquid lunch

Enjoy your long weekend Carl!

What I tell the guys here is that you have to tell your boss that you have a bad case of diarrhea....that makes them squeamish and they tell you to stay home !!

After about 40 years of supervising Army folks, both active duty and civilians, trust me I have heard just about every imaginable excuse that you could think of.
I believe that first place and a big blue ribbon and a possible trophy would have to go to a lady that called in and she said that her pet porcupine had severe chapped lips and she was going to have to take it in to the vet.
I couldn't hardly look her in the face for several days after that cause I knew that I would have split a gut laughing at her.
