Looking for good way to protect my RV tires other than buying those expensive tire covers. Will Armor All work ok. I know uv rays can be hard on tires.
Thanks

Those "expensive(?) tire covers" are about the best and cheaper than anything else in the long run. If you must spray, 303 Aerospace Protectant is about the only "proven" protectant out there.

The tire covers aren't to bad at about $22 a pair. I also agree with the 303 recommendation! It is great stuff for uv protection. I would never use Armor All on rubber products...for that matter, I wouldn't use it period!

Happy Camping!

NO! Do Not use Armor All. As stated above. 303 Aerospace Protectant is the only thing you should use.

Armor all was bad for tires. If you used armor all on your tires it used to cause a lot of dry cracking. BUT If im not mistaken, it has been reformulated so now it is ok to use on tires. However...... I still wouldnt use it. Just have that fear.

just bought 2 pair of tire covers at wal=mart for less than 20.00 per pair. I also have used armor all on my boat trailer tires and have gotten 10yrs before replacing, although I think tire covers are the best solution.

Years ago a local tire dealer had a sample of what ArmorAll did to a tire. It was basically destroyed. Have they fixed it, do not know. Would I use it, NO NO NO.

I just cover mine when stored. If I want to clean them, I use soap and water.
