Wow, what a weird feeling. We are at the Casino Queen RV Park in East St. Louis, IL and were awakened at 4:36AM by the rig shaking back and forth fairly violently. I jumped out of bed and originally thought that the wind must be really blowing hard, but the feeling was too intense. I then thought maybe someone was pushing on the rig in an effort to get me to come out. I finally concluded that it must have been an earthquake. Turned on the TV and eventually they reported that it was indeed an earthquake. No one else in this park seemed to notice.

A co-worker felt it about 5:45a.m. here in middle TN. He was on a mezzanine at the time, I was on the ground floor. He felt it but I didn't. Got home from work, turned on the TV and that's all they are talking about. Have been through a couple while working in Alaska and it's definitely a weird sensation.

I'm in Lebanon TN, about 30 miles east of Nashville, and about 180 miles from the epicenter. I awoke this morning to the bed shaking, vibrating. I freaked and thought the wife was having some type of seizure. I woke her up. We both felt it and then it stopped. I didn't put the magnitude of this together until I watched the news this morning. Wow!

The epicenter was 64 miles from my me. I've slept thru small earthquakes before and never felt them. This was the first one that I actually felt. Strange feeling!
