Good morning all.
We just purchased a new fiver and it came with a counter extension.
This is a removable jobber that does not fold down to store. You have to remove it when traveling.
Where is the best place to store this?
Here is a link if you would like to take a look for yourself.

Will it fit under the sink? Is there a flat storage space under the stove?
Ok, I am editing my post and including the photo of it, it is HUGE! Store it under the bed maybe? On the floor under the couch?

There is a shelf in there. That's the first place I looked.
There is storage under the couch/hide a bed but SWMBO has it filled with bedding. Maybe under the bed is all that's left.
I suggested keeping in the garage at home.
That didn't go over too well.
The thing is just too darn big.

In our Wildcat we keep ours underneath the fold out couch.
We don't use it much, but occassinoally when preparing a larger dinner or cooking for guests I'll use it.

I made a similar extension for our last trailer and just threw it on the bed when traveling. It was heavy enough that the covers on the bed didn't let it slide around.

I had a nice factory installed kitchen countertop counter-extention on my Vogue diesel coach many years ago. It was hinged-in-place, and just a pure joy to have. Talk about easy, rugged, out of the way, as well as functional and attractive. As I remember, the "hinge," ran the length of the extention, and the "support" was metal, and "V-ed" into the bottom of the extention.
Dinettes, are a different animal, so to speak.
