Replacing our foam mattress with a spring one from a hideabed unit, We have a bed maker called Verlo here on Wisconsin, Size they say it's just a stock queen 60 x 80 and they claim at 5 inches tall just 1 inch taller then the foam one, that it will bend just as easy as the stock one, I believe with the spring mattress I am hoping to get a better sleep. Has any one tried this particular arrangement, I know I will be loosing the heated top, but I can alway's purchase a heated cover. Thank's Frank

I'd be a little concerned about trying to fold a spring mattress into the space of a foam. You may be able to store it on the table or whatever, but I can't imagine it fitting in the same space as the original. But....if it works, that's great news for lots of HTT owners. Keep us informed.

I agree, But going to give it a try next week, since it will not be a special order I could return it, if it does not fit, but watching it fold in the hideabed just might work. Will keep this site aware. Thank's Frank

Isn't it funny how a bunch of mattress links pop up on this thread?
Frank, it's good to hear Verlo is being cool about it if it doesn't fit. I think your bunk ends are taller than ours - if worse comes to worst - you could always slide it in when the canvas is up and store it across the trailer when not in use - not even have to fold it.
Just a thought.
