We buy a $15 - $20 charcoal grill from Wal-Mart whenever we are in the same place for more a month or more. Then when we leave, we give it away. This way we do not have to clean out the grill each time we move.

We use a Cobb Grill. Compact, efficient, light weight and easy to clean. We have to be able to store things effectively, in a 26ft RV with no basement. We have been full timing for 16 years now, and this is the best we have found. Takes only 6-8 briquet's to cook a full meal for two. Light briquet's close it up and just wait until time to eat. Less work than any BBQ I've used. Chicken or Steak, Chops, you name it. Potatoes and corn at the same time. We even put wine in the well to add to the flavor, or mesquite chips on the briquet's. Originally designed to cook in Africa or other countries in the deserts etc, where fuel was at a premium. Works like a slow cooker, with charcoal instead of electricity.

Then, there is the great BBQ we can have, even when it is raining out, cooking it inside in the Crockpot. Put 2 cups of your favorite BBQ sauce in the bottom or make your own. Put in Pork ribs, Pork, Chicken, Beef, whatever. Cook it over 4 hours or as long as you want, you can even put it in the night before.

You get, the tastiest, tenderest, that will fall off the bone. You do not have to turn it or watch it, and can have it anywhere in spite of the weather.... We used to stop in a place where they sold the best Texas BBQ ever found in CA. We stopped going there, as the BBQ made in our Crockpot is better, and more tender.

We get cheap Walmart propane grills every other year. We have a 2.5 gallon tank for it. We have a folding table we got from CW 10 years ago for the grill if there is no suitable table at camp. It has a metal like top. The chairs are what ever we find, sling/bag chairs and 2 nice folding chairs we got at Sams last summer. Two plastic folding tables for the chairs.

We bought a small grill at Walmart for Under $20. I have the setup for it to use full size tank rather than the small 1 or 2 lb tanks. I have a long enough hose that the grill can be where I want it.

We bought foldup directors chairs from Costco, heavy duty and very stable and you sit a little higher than most. I am a bigger guy and I feel comfortable in these. Some have a small table attached that drops down but when I bought mine they didn't have those. When we bought them they were right around $20 each.

Just went and looked at the cobb grills, they look pretty good and not that bad for price.

Our favorite grill is a cheap electric from Wal-Mart, you don't have to mess with the charcoal and lighter fluid and can still cook outside. We MUST have the zero gravity recliner outside chairs, LaFuma I think they are called are an expensive brand, they have them at Camping World also but we found some at Wal-Mart for $50.00 and have been using them for two years now. Our campsite isn't complete until the chairs come out of the bay.

Weber "Q" for the grill. We have a couple of chair that we picked up at Costco and really most of the time they sit in the basement. Most campgrounds have a table and benches and we just use them.

We have a cheap walmart propane bbq so we don't have to mess with the charcol. We have light wieght folding table. A rechargable lantern to set on the table is nice and not too expensive. I also like my folding chair with footrest for sitting outside and watching the world go by.

I'm not on the road yet...but when I am, I imagine my qgrill will be packed!

http://www.thane.com/products/housewares/qgrill/qgrill.php

I think you can only get it in Germany or the Middle East now.

That and a folding chair that is light and can be slung over one shoulder, but even has armrests! Forget the name of it though.

Why Full-Timing? Because at my age, I have maybe 40 more chances to see flowers bloom.
