I have the tripod and it is not the answer. Right now I don't want to spend the money for the JT, but maybe someday. The Rotochocks are good, but still have plenty of movement.

I think that a little motion is all part of camping--like a little rocking is part of boating. If it really bothers you, jack it up and put concrete blocks under it.

Were I to use the rig a LOT more, the JT's are apparently the way to go.
Enjoy

Here's another version of wheel chocks for less than $10.

Do a search for Wayne's stabilizers. They are less expensive then JT's but would help. I have not used them myself but others say they work.

I found locking chocks between the wheels/pin stabilizer and stabilizers (not a scissor jack) at the rear take all my movement out of my 11200 GVWR 5er.

Tried Wayne's stablizer...didn't work even a little for us. Now have Rotochoks and JT stabilizers...nothing compares...can't even feel the washer shake when it spins!!!

JT stabilizers are so much worth the money. DW is very happy which makes for a very nice camping experience.

We bought the Wayne's Stabilizer for our Legends. We use in it conjuction with a king pin stabilizer. This combo works very well for us. Stopped the side2side movement very well. For us, it was worth the money.

In fairness, I haven't used the JT system, so I can't compare how well the Wayne's does against it.

As you can tell, there are many who know what works for them. That can help you and it can be frustrating. You'll have to decide what you want for your 5er.

Good luck in your quest - It's half the fun!!!!
