Heading to Lake Tahoe in September and trying to decide where to stay. Has anyone stayed at Zephyr Cove Resort? Any other recommendations in the South Lake Tahoe area for a 40ft motorhome.

Great resort directly across the street from the lake. Half way between the north shore and the south shore.

You can also take a look at Camp Richardson, which is at South Lake Tahoe.

Here's another good one, very central and again right on the lake.

We have & will be staying at Zephyr Cove. Summer is impossible to get into except for constant calling for cancellations. Great place for family & kids.

If you can go without hook-ups, Fallen Leaf campground is very nice, and much less expensive than the others mentioned. It is a few miles west of South Lake Tahoe.
