Yes!! Just like a standard window A/C unit. The duct air with separate thermostat controls are the only ones designed to shut down when temp. is reached.

Most units I've encountered, including ours, can be set either way. The fan can be set to cut off with the compressor, OR, set to stay on and circulate air.
Some RV'ers are awakened by the "blower" (fan) cycling on and off each time the compressor comes on.

And this is the correct answer to the correct answer.
If your controls are located directly on the ceiling plenumn, then the fan will run all of the time. It will be the comressor that cycles on and off only.

In many cases, you've "incorrectly" identified the "correct" incorrect answer, NOT "necessarily" the correct answer.
In two different cases, while touring other RV's with their owners, they said "something" to the effect, that one of the only things they didn't like was the AC fan waking them up when the compressor came on at night. I asked them why they didn't turn the AC fan switch to "circulate," "fan on," continuous, etc. or what ever verbiage they might use. They said they didn't have that ability. In both cases I found a "fan continuous on" switch position on both.
It's on a great many RV's.
One other thing re: window units. Several models of them can have the fan cycle as well.

But it has two setting for the fan Hi and Low and two setting also for the compressor Hi and Low. Thanks again for all your help. I am a newbe when it comes to this stuff.
