Greetings...I am looking at the new Fleetwood Line. I have found two dealers in the general area of Salt Lake City. Motorsportsland and Sam T. Evans in Ogden. Can anyone out there give me some feedback on these two dealerships? Thanks for your time and efforts.

When I was looking for my popup I talked with Sam Evans and they were great to work with. I ended up buying a used one from a private person and they had bought from Motor Sportsland and had good comments about them. Both seem to be good to deal with, and both had lower prices than their original price.

Hi Desertrush,
I think I wrote to you about this before, but here goes again.
I talked to Sam Evins a couple times before I bought at MotorSportsland. They seemed OK, but they didn't have the model I wanted at the time (Evolution E1).
MotorSportsland was closer and they made me a good deal. My experience with them has been excellent, both sales and service.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts and advice. Looking forward to getting out with a new E1 model soon. My wife and I had 60 nights in a tent camping last summer, so this summer will definitely be a more comfortable change!

Good Heavens, 60 nights!
Are you retired or are you school teachers?

We have bought two campers from Motorsportsland
Niagara, then the Avalon
Ask for "Doc" the salesperson if you do end up talking with them. He was a great help
Here is the thing that we have found, you must get to know Dean, the head of the service department. I think that the service department is more important than the sales person. When we want something done and they don't do it right or on time, we call him and he handles it.
Good experience in buying both times there.

Ron,
Funny...I am a school teacher! Good call...It is great! Camping doesn't cost a lot of money but one needs the time to do it. Yes, we have a little time...Our record is 120 nights in a year. We will see what happens with a popup. We are used to backpacking and tent camping, so the popup will be a change.
You got a love Utah for camping! We are trying to outfit the popup for camping outside of a campground. Not a campground fan...And, there are plenty of wide open spaces in Utah!

May I suggest from experience that if you want to have the best time in your pup that you get two 6 volt batteries since it looks like that you will be boondocking a lot. They will give you more power & last longer. Since we went to them it has been much more pleasant & we don't have all of the power needs that the newer trailers have.

Sorry to hijack this post with this question but I am looking for some advice.
I live in the Ogden area and am looking for a good place to go camping before the snow melts in the mountains. Eurocamper, I think that in one of your posts you mentioned desert camping on the west side of Stansbury Island on the Great Salt Lake. If this is true could you give me more information on where specifically you go, what the camping condtions are like, is it BLM land, etc. Any information that you could give me would be helpful. I have an E3 so I am not afraid of getting of the beaten path.
