Terry and I arrived at our summer position at Heise yesterday. We discovered that we need another workcamper or two. Office, cleaning and some maintenance.
Contact me by pm if you are interested. I will have more info on hours, $$$$ etc today.
This is a fun place to work. Pools, golf course, hiking, fishing....right on the South Fork of the Snake, 20 miles NE of Idaho Falls.
This will be our 4th season here.

Dianne, you're killing me. I spent 5 months one year and 9 months the the next living and working in Idaho and we really love the state. Unfortunately we're not in the position where we can just pull up and move at this time but we're keeping up with your wonderful adventures in that fabulous state and if you're still there when we finally get to that point we'd be more that happy to work for you and Terry. Best of luck to you in your upcoming season. Sitting here salivating.

Don, yes, we are in. They had over 4' on the ground since Dec...no thaw. It finally thawed a couple of weeks ago. Yesterday we turned on the water at 50 campsites and an hour later it started snowing. 3" by afternoon. Most is gone now.
I did my four mile walk at dawn and the marshes were covered in snow. The Canada geese were balanced on one foot keeping watch. Sandhill cranes calling to each other over the sounds of the ducks. Hundreds of deer were out and about. Songbirds singing and the sound of rushing water was intoxicating. The hills are all green and white...a study in contrasts. This is, for sure, one of my favorite places on earth, especially in spring.
I just cannot put into words how happy I am here......
Don't blame you one bit. If only I was retired now! But DW still says she is not interested in workcamping, so I guess I will do it and she can come and go as she pleases. Moving DD back from Boise area at the end of next month when school is out. She has had some really weird weather there too.
