Personally, I would not, in essence you're jacking up the one side of the trailer with one bolt as the weakest link, the bolt that goes through the yoke and into the bracket. When both tires are on the ground, there are three bolts holding up the weight, front shackle, the yoke bolt and the rear shackle. I know it's a bit more work getting the jack under the right spot, but, I'd hate to see it come crashing down.
Just as a follow up, I got a reply back from Crossroads and, at least for my ST26RK, this is what they had to say regarding the use of a "SmartJak" type gizmo:
"Your email was forwarded to our service manager for his evaluation. He said that if you choose to buy this product you will still need a jack because the other tire will stay down because of the equalizer system on your unit. It would have the same affect as going over a bump in the road."
