Just purchased a 2008 Fiesta XL 34G. It is leaning close to four inches on the right rear and three plus inches on the right front.
It has been seven work days at the MH dealer for that a few other items and they told me the leaning is a Ford issue. I just returned from the Ford shop (4 days)and was told to get weigh but it appeared to be a Fleetwood issue. Anyone dealt with this before with success?

thanks!

Quit wasting time and call a 'lawyer'. He may cost you a few bucks, but it beats getting the 'run-around'!! JMHO

I'm a newbee to this forum, but read it often. Have a Bounder 08 Fleetwood that had the same problem. It's a Fleetwood problem because of the heavy appliances/equipment all on the right side. The upgraded generator is also very heavy (right rear). Got tired of the finger pointing between Fleetwood and Ford and didn't want to waste any more time. Took it to a spring and axle shop. They added two leaf springs to the right rear. Problem fixed. Level coach. Back to camping in one day. Cost $600. Worth it to me. Sometimes it's easier to just get it done and get on with the fun instead of wasting time finding the blame.

I agree with just getting it fixed, but on the other side of the coin, will this do anything to void the warranty on a 2008 model? I have a Ford chassis,
no leaning..... Good Luck

If they knew it was done, it would probably void the warranty. However, the two springs blend in so well you would need to be looking for them. Don't ask, don't tell is my theory. Ford's fix was shimms, the dealer's fix was to re-arch the springs. That's where the finger-pointing started and neither solution was acceptable to me. I wanted a more permanent fix. It was a tech at Camper's World that actually directed me to the Spring and Axle shop. The right rear addition of springs leveled the whole coach (ours was 3" low right front, 2" right rear).
Good luck.

Will it void the warranty on the axle issue or on the whole Ford chassis including the engine, trans. ect.?

I'd LOVE to have them deny my warranty coverage because I fixed a factory defect!

That sounds like fun!

Just a update... it's back in the FORD shop for a second trip. They have had it 4 days now. I have not heard from them. Of course they are at the mercy of the what the FORD REP. approves.
