I have a 07 Jayco Eagle 314 bhs. I has the slot outside to attach a grill, but ours didn't come with it. Does anyone know anything about these grills? Where can I get one? What kind do I need? My dealership says they can't get me one.
Please...please! I beg you not to get the RVQ grill! They went out of business anyway (thank God!) but they may still be out there, waiting for some poor victim to buy it!
Invest a bit more money and get a Weber Q 200 grill, we've had 3 RVQ's that came with our last 3 Jaycos...not worth the dynamite it would take to blow them up! Weak flames blow out in the softest breeze, hamburgers take an hour to cook, hard to clean, etc.
WeberQ...Best BBQ grill of any type I've ever owned...makes perfect burgers, hot dogs, steaks, etc. Grill marks are perfect, cooks hot and fast. Easy to clean, too! Shop around for best price, the 100 is small, the 200 bigger and 220 has a temp guage.
I have the grill on our new Jayco, but have not used it yet. I am curious to see how well it cooks. If you do a search, this has been discussed before...it seems like some people love it and some people hate it.
We have the RVQ and love it. It's not heavy duty and you have to keep an eye on things but it's real convenient for just the two of us. We had our dealer throw it in after the deal was finalized but his usual retail price on it was way beyond reasonable.
If you can't swing a deal like we got you're better off finding an after market grill.
Remember that these grills that take fuel from the outlet on the side or under the trailer are burning low pressure gas provided after the trailer's regulator. A normal grill that takes the cannisters or direct connection to a propane tank have their own regulators. Hooking them up to the trailer connection just don't work. In that case you'll have to get a fitting and extension hose to connect directly to the tanks before the regulator.

As said RVQ grill has been on EBay. Once you learn to cook with one, you will love it. Perfect for skillet top cooking, foil packet dinners, foil tray cooking etc. You do NOT want to cook greasy foods that drip & make a mess.

The RVQ was an "option" on ours a and was not included with the camper when we purchased it. However it does have the rail and connection for it. We just bought a Thermos Grill-2-Go and it works great. Just wish I could hook it up to the camper LP supply. Obtaining a hose connection without a regulator is my project for this summer.

Make a table to hang where the grill goes and get yourself a Weber Q to cook on. People who like the RVQ have either never had a good grill or are satisfied with (to be REAL kind) mediocrity. I have had two RVQs which came with the trailer. I thought the first was bad and just quit using it. The second was proof enough for me that they are junk.
It should be some indication when someone says "you have to watch them, but...". I can put 4 chicken halves bone side down on my Weber Q 200, put it between the second and third notch from low, and go play. An hour and a half later, they're done. They're juicy, crispy skinned bone dropping done and I haven't touched them since I put them on.
Your dealer is doing you a HUGE favor telling you he can't get you the grill (RVQ assumed) that goes on your trailer. Now go do yourself a favor and buy a Weber Q.
Grill history: Sunbeam $20 grill from Walmart (better than the RVQ), two (count them, two) RVQ grills (if you can call them that), a Road Trip (the original version, they might have gotten better) and a Weber Q 200 (they got it right the first time). When you reach perfection, you quit looking.
